WindFarm Support and Service Vessels
In 2010 Fastnet Shipping Ltd were new entrants to the Offshore Windfarm Service Vessel Market with two new high spec and bespoke new-build 14m fast catamarans built for the transfer of crews, equipment and supplies between the onshore facilities and wind turbines.
Our present fleet comprises of the of the 14m “Fastnet Swift” and the “Fastnet Tern” and based on the successful reception of these two vessels they will be joined by new builds the “Fastnet Skua” and “Fastnet Puffin” in March and April 2012 respectively.
The internal and external layouts of all our vessels have been designed with the comfort and safety of our passengers and crews in mind whilst not losing sight of performance and durability. In addition to this all our vessels were designed built to exceed the build and certification requirements of both the MCA and the Irish Dept. of Transport whom they are all currently certified by for operation.
